The new Jacuzzi® SmartFilter System delivers the ultimate in pure water. Two 60 sq. ft. spa filters drive the system. The SmartFilter for the 24-hour circulation pump has an ingenious design for adding sanitizers; simply twist open the filter cap, insert the SmartCartridge for use with bromine tablets or the ProClear mineral purifier dispenser, and lock into place.

Jacuzzi Hot Tubs’ ProClarity™ Filtration is a ground-breaking two-stage system that can maintain water purity using fewer chemicals and less maintenance than is typical with ordinary filters alone. Also new is the filter cover grill with an integrated skimming weir and leaf bag that ensures the water’s surface is debris-free.
The entire patent-pending system works up to 7 times faster than standard filters, so your system doesn’t have to work as hard to deliver clean water.
The two-stage filtration process blends past methods with the proven technology of the future, known as Reemay®. Here’s how this system of spa filters works:
- Stage One: The Reemay pleated filter removes large debris from the water. The new ProClarity canister is where the filtered water gets pulled into stage two of the process.
- Stage Two: The second stage takes place inside the canister. A depth-load filter removes the smallest particles, enhanced by pressure from the circulation pump. The spa filters having done their work, the freshened and cleaned water is returned to the spa.
- Less Maintenance: The dense depth-load filter canister is easier to use than other hot tub filters – you simply replace it. The filter canister never needs cleaning, and the pleated filter should last about 18 months before needing replacement.
