Last week, at the 2010 Navistar LPGA Classic held at the RTJ Golf Trail in Pratville, AL, Jacuzzi contributed a J-365™ hot tub to the Wounded Warrior Project. WWP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan charity of the Navistar LPGA Classic and serves three purposes:
- To raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members.
- To help injured service members aid and assist each other.
- To provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.
“We’ve had an opportunity to talk with various wounded vets over the years who call us seeking benefits and advice on how they can incorporate hydrotherapy into their recovery. Hot tubs are not just for fun and relaxation and socialization, they are also used by people who’ve had serious life and physical changing injuries to them,” remarks Jacuzzi Communications Director, Anthony Pasquarelli. “We’re donating the hot tub to the Wounded Warrior Project for their benefit. They can use it in a number of different ways. They may want to use it in an auction or they may want to give it directly to a wounded vet who is in serious need of this type of hydrotherapy.”
The donated J-365 Signature Collection spa is a big hot tub, with room enough to seat 6-7 adults comfortably and features the PowerPro® Therapy Seat. Sculpted seats and pillow headrests support the body, while therapeutic jets speed the healing of sore muscles and relieve tension. Buoyancy lightens the burden on aching joints.
